The Creative Process

Why do we need a creative process?
-it will improve consistency
-the ability to plan and time your work
-raise the quality of your work
-communicate more effectively and in a more professional manner

Steps of the creative process:
1. research ( internet, talking to people, books)
2. brainstorming (gathering your ideas) "what kind of message am I trying to communicate?" "who is my audience?" "what kind of color or style will work for this audience?"
3. sketch (thumbnails)
4. execute (combine type and imagery into a well developed composition)
5. critique and revise (step back and look at the design from a different view)
